This high stakes playoff game is a rematch from last year where Regan won 30-7.

Saturday’s game was a matchup that would end in heartbreak for one team and jubilation for the other.

O’Connor was the first on the scoreboard with an 11-yard TD reception by #11 Carson Jones and a good extra point 7-0 Panthers. 5:08 left in the first quarter. Reagan ties the first quarter with a touchdown by RB #14 Carson Green 7-7.

The Panthers #87 TE Kevin Cavanaugh takes the lead back in the second quarter with 1:40 left to play until halftime 14-7 O’Connor. Reagan ties the second quarter at 14 each with a TD by the quarterback #12 Lance Lorenz 14-14.

Reagan takes their first lead of the game, in the third quarter, with a field goal with 9:21 left in the third 17-14 Rattlers. The Panthers tied up the third quarter with a field goal kick of their own 17-17.

The fourth quarter would add no more points to the game resulting in a tie 17-17.

The Panthers kicked a field goal in overtime 17-20 Panthers. This gives the ball to Reagan for their possession. The Rattlers make a TD completion to #80 WR Ronald Link-Miliam to win the game. The extra point is missed making the final score 23-20.

Reagan (6-5 overall) will play Judson Rockets (10-1) in the next round.
