OK3Sports Football News: Munford vs Lincoln

Lions had a slow first quarter on Friday night then had 21 unanswered points in the second half to defeat the Golden Bears.

Lincoln controlled the first quarter, using the ground attack to march down the field on Munford leading them by 10-0.

The Lions responded on the next drive to cut the lead by 3 points right before the half.

Coach Bill Smith motivated the Lions during the half, the Lions came out for the second quarter and played lights out defense, winning the game 27-10 over the Golden Bears.

Munford will match up with Elmore County next week for a home conference game. Lincoln will also have a home conference game against Central-Clay County.
