Athletes and parents check out this great Ted Talk by David Epstien who discusses the 3 major reasons why athletic performance has improved so dramatically in the last decades.

When you look at sporting achievements over the last decades, it seems like humans have gotten faster, better and stronger in nearly every way. This talk was presented at an official TED conference, and was featured by our editors on the home page.
