North Shore’s William Timmons commits to Iowa Central

Iowa Central Track and Field department received some good news this past Sunday, from North Shore’s William Timmons, he has verbally committed.

“I made the decision after speaking to Coach Stubbfield,” said Timmons, who will sign on the official signing day. “I think I’ll be a great fit with the team, it’s not everyday a kid with a hard life gets the chance to take his talent to the next level.” said Timmons.

This summer Timmons has been running AAU Track with Greater Houston, stacking up many medals for the 100m, 200m, 4X1, 4X4 and 4X8. Timmons and his 4X8 relay team will compete in the 2016 Junior Olympics.
