Boerne Champion Girls won the team titles for the 5A girls at the 2019 Region – 5A meet, Gregory-Portland coming in second and the Wagner Lady Thunderbirds took home third.
Boerne Champion’s Layne Bolli won Gold in the 400-meter with a time of 56.50 seconds while teammate Anastacia Gonzales won Gold in the 800-meter with a time of 2:15.42.
Region – 5A Meet GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD RESULTS
San Antonio Veterans Memorial won the team titles for the 5A boys at the 2019 Region – 5A meet,Corpus Christie Carroll a close second and not far behind in third was Seguin.
SA Veterans Memorial’s Candan Martin took home Gold in advanced to the State Championship in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.12 seconds and teammate Khaliq Paulette landed Gold in the triple jump with a jump of 44’11 inches to advance to the state championships.
Region – 5A Meet BOYS TRACK AND FIELD RESULTS
San Antonio Reagan won the team titles for the 6A girls at the 2019 Region – 6A meet, Weslaco finished second and the Converse Judson Rockets took home third.
Reagan’s Jasmine Montgomery won Gold in two events the 100-meter (11.56) and 200-meter (24.19). Teammate Alyssa Quinones-Mixon won Gold in the pole vault crossing the bar at 12’7″ to advance to the state championship. Lady Rattlers also secured a spot for the 4×100 meter at this year UIL’s state championship.
Region – 6A Meet GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD RESULTS
Converse Judson won the team titles for the 6A boys at the 2019 Region – 6A meet, San Antonio Warren finished second and the Brennan Bears took home third.
Judson’s Dre’Quan Crawford won gold in the 200-meter (22.09) and teammates won the 4 X 100 and 4 X 200 and 4 X 400-meter relay.
