A two-point conversion by Buccaneers senior Nick Willis on the game’s final play proved to be the difference.

Neither team scored in the first overtime. Trotwood started the second OT, Latimer scored 19 yards out bringing the score 28-21, Severt threw a pass to Johnzel Gray who then found the end zone. Buccaneers now trailing by one point. Severt then threw a pass to Nick Willis for the game-winning two-point conversion.

Trentwood led at the halftime 14-7.

The Buccaneers moved to 6-3 with the victory and will face Fairborn on Thursday night, while Rams dropped to 6-3 on the season. Trotwood-Madison will travel to Huber Heights to take on the Wayne Warriors.
