O’Connor 33, Marshall 18
Zion Taylor rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns as O’Connor defeated Marshall 33-18 on Friday night.
Taylor did his damage on 26 carries.
Panthers led at halftime 17-12.
Rams’ Bernard Danki ran for 94 yards on 17 carries and scored on runs of 21 and 9 yards. Dylan Poore had five carries for 68 yards and a TD.
The Panthers moved to 7-0 with the victory and will face Clark Cougars on Saturday night at Farris Stadium, while Rams dropped to 2-5 on the season. Marshall will stay take on Holmes Huskies next Thursday night at Gustafson Stadium.
