Munford 38, St. Clair 33

Munford’s L.J. Flint scored on a 15-yard pass with :23 remaining, lifting the Lions (3-6) to a 38-33 victory over St. Clair County.

Jay Tuck threw three touchdown passes and ran 5-yards for another touchdown. Tuck connected with Cameron Lemons (34-yards) and L.J. Flint (15-yards)

The Lions led at the halftime 14-13.

Munford’s RB Pernell Mitchell set the tone for the Lions at the top of the fourth quarter running a 31, 13 and had a touchdown run of 9-yards to finish the drive to bring the score to 25-22.

The Lions moved to 3-6 with the victory and will host Sylacauga on Friday night, while Saints dropped to 1-7 on the season. St. Clair County will stay at home to take on Springville.
