Judson 63, Reagan 21
Mike Chandler threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score as Judson bumped off Reagan 63-21.
Chandler was 11-for-17 passing for 164 yards, and touchdowns to Anthony Shelton and Amarea Bailey for the Rockets. Chandler also added a 5 yard TD in the 3rd quarter.
Sincere McCormick rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns, McCormick scored on runs of 65 and 55 yards in the first half.
Mike Chandler was 8-for-10 overall for 206 yards and one touchdown pass.
Rockets De’Anthony Lewis ran for 96 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
The defense lead by DeMarvin Leal and Daniel Williams shut down Reagan’s offense, LB Kevin Wood had two sacks in the first half, Rashad Wisdom picked off Travis Sthele in ran it back 40 yards for a TD.
Lucas Coley threw a 36 yard TD pass to Jacob Ramos with seconds remaining in the third quarter.
Friday Night Tykes star Myzel Miller scored on a two-yard run for to complete the scoring for the Rockets.
The Rattlers struggled on offense all day but managed to get in the end zone on Friday, QB Travis Sthele connected with Konner Fox on a 51-yard TD pass. Austin Miller scored on a 46 yard TD run and Preston Yates scored on a 27-yard fumble recovery.
The Judson Rockets improved to 11-0 with the victory and will advance to the next round of the playoffs in face San Benito on Friday night at Morrow Stadium, while Reagan Rattlers dropped to 9-3 to end the 2018 season.
