Judson 49, Buda Hays 14
Sincere McCormick rushed for 82 yards and three touchdowns as Judson beat Buda Hays 49-14 in the first round of the playoffs.
McCormick scored on runs of 10 and one yards in the first half, then added a 6-yarder in the third for the Rockets.
Mike Chandler was 8-for-10 overall for 206 yards and one touchdown pass.
Rockets De’Anthony Lewis ran for 96 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
Kameron Lopez and Davion Wilson caught touchdown passes for the Rockets.
The Rebels only found the end zone twice on Friday night, both times on the ground. Devin Hines scored on a one-yard TD run and Xavier Green scored on a 19-yard run.
The Judson Rockets improved to 10-0 with the victory and will advance to the next round of the playoffs in face Reagan Rattlers on Friday night at a neutral site, while Buda Hays dropped to 8-3 to end the 2018 season.
