It was a historic night for Judson’s defense Friday, as the Rockets kept the Rangers off the scoreboard for the first time since 1996.

Demarvin Leal led a defense that kept the Rangers out of the red zone. Michael Washington and Jayden Cloud both had interceptions from Rangers QB Levi Williams.

Mike Chandler put the Rockets on the board first with a 10-yard rushing touchdown. He threw a 66-yard TD pass to Sincere McCormick.

Judson’s Kevin Wood blocked a punt and it was returned by Corey Parks a 48-yard touchdown to move the Rockets to 14-0.

The Rockets led at the halftime 21-0.

The Rockets moved to 6-0 with the victory and will host Canyon on Friday night, while Rangers dropped to 2-4 on the season. Smithson Valley will stay travel to Lehnhoff Stadium to take on Steele Knights.
