Harlan 63, Harlandale 35
Kannon Williams ran for two touchdowns and passed for four more, leading host Harlan to a 63-35 win over Harlandale.
 
Williams ran for 41 yards, scoring on runs of 7-yards in the first, 13 yards in the third. He completed 18-of-25 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns. 
 
Harlandale’s Joe Anthony Vallejo was the first to find the end zone with a 6-yard TD run in this conference game. 
 
Ruben Gonzalez continues the pressure with a 39 yard pass reception from Nicholas Veliz, Gonzalez dived into the end zone with 6:30 left in the 1st 14-0 Indians. 
 
Harlan quarterback Kannon Williams get the Hawks on the board with a 7-yard TD run late in the first quarter, 14-7 Indians. 
 
Hawks Jacory Logan 39 yard pass reception Kannon Williams ties up the game 14-14 with 8 minutes left in the half. 
 
Harlan Aubery McDade run one in from one-yard out to give the Hawks the lead 21-14 for a short period of time because the Indians would strike back with another TD 21-21 with only 49 seconds left in the 2nd. 
 
Harlan was determined to lead the game entering halftime, Kannon Williams puts up a hail Mary pass into the end zone in finds Kamali Anderson for another touchdown, Hawks lead at the half 28-21. 
 
 
Returning from the locker room Harlan continues to extend their lead with a 25-yard TD reception by Jacory Logan 35-21. 
 
Harlandale answers back with a TD by Nicholas Veliz bringing the Indians within 7 points 35-28. 
 
Still in the third quarter the Hawks pickup another TD 42-28. 
 
Donovan Harris picks up a fumble recovery for the Hawks. 
 
Late in the third Kannon Williams runs one in the end zone from 13-yards out 49-28. 
 
Aubery McDade 38-yard TD run pushes Harlan’s lead to 56-28. 
 
Harlandale’s Joseph Rodriguez gives the Indians another TD 56-35 Hawks. 
 
Harlan’s Richard De La Garza scores on a 32-yard run to get the final touchdown with 41 seconds left to play. The Hawks win their homecoming game 63-35.
 
What’s Next? Harlan have a bye week 11 Oct and will travel to Eagle Pass, TX to take on the Mavericks on 18 Oct, 19. Harlandale will host the Mavericks on the 11 Oct.
