Thursday night football featuring Brennan Bears and Jay Mustangs at Gustafson Stadium on 9/12/2019. Brennan and Jay enter the game each with 2 wins and 0 losses.
Brandon Wyatt #9 for Brennan picked off an interception and was first to get into the end zone. Extra point was good for 7-0 late in the first.
Darren Tolefree #8 dives for a TD but was just shy of the end zone setting up a 2 yard touchdown by Quarterback Jordan Flores #12 Bears 14-0.
Brandon Wyatt catches another Jay interception and runs down field 32 yards for his second touchdown 21-0.
Late in the second quarter Jordan Flores runs 37 yards for another touchdown 27-0 for the Bears homecoming game.
Mustangs running back #16 Xandrian Huerta runs a long dash for a touchdown and puts jay on the board with 6, no extra point 27-6.
Bears #8 Matthew Gomez answers Jays TD with a run of his own into the end zone for a touchdown. The extra point is good pushing the Bears lead to 34-6 entering halftime.
A errant Mustang snap past the end zone gives the Bears a safety for 36-6 Brennan.
Bears AJ Clay #22 picks up 2 touchdowns for a final score 49-6.
The Bears defense stopped the mustangs with only 97 yards of offense. Brennan had a total of 417 yards.
Brennan will play Taft Raiders on Sept 21 at Ferris with kickoff at 7:30PM.
