San Antonio high school football featuring Brennan Bears and the Reagan Rattlers played at Farris Stadium on Aug 30, 2019.

The last time these two teams met Reagan was able to overcome a three quarter deficit and win 24-22. This time around it was all Brennan.

The Brennan defense limited Reagan to 60 total yards –  16/-11 yards rushing and 71 passing.

Flores rushed 10 times for 61 yards and completed 15 of 29 passes for 159 yards.

The Bears got on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a 28 yard field goal. Bear’s #2 Keion Thomas makes a touchdown after catching a pass from Darryon Tolefree who received a handoff reverse from Rashaud Blair who first received the ball from quaterback Jordan Flores. This razzle-dazzle play puts Brennan in the lead 10-0 in the first quarter.

No more points are added to the board until the fourth quarter when Gabriel Ramos caught a pass and runs in for the final touchdown of the game. Brennan wins 17-0.

The Bears will match up against the Warren Warriors at Farris Stadium, on Friday, September 6. The Rattlers will travel to Cibolo, TX in attempt to get their first win of the season against the Steele Knights.
