Brandeis 51, Brennan 16

Both teams came into the game on a hot winning streak, but the Broncos (5-0, 4-0) built an insurmountable lead in the first half and controlled the second half as Brandeis remained undefeated with a 51-16 rout of Brennan.

Brennan’s Darryon Tolefree got the scoring started with a 69-yard reception from QB David Valera. The Bears would not find the end zone again until late in the 4th.

Corion Holmes and Jordan Battles ranned for more than a 100 yards apiece. Holmes (134 yards) two touchdowns, while Battles (134-yards) Eduardo Webster-Vega (73-yards) and J. Nova Rangel (4-yards) added a touchdown apiece for the Broncos. 

Jordan Battles was 3-of-4 passing for 110 passing yards and two touchdowns to J. Nova Rangel (62-yards) and Corion Holmes (29-yards).

The Bears finished with Ashton Duboise punching one in from one-yard out and Zeigler Zakai returning extra point, bringin the final score 51-16.

What’s next?: Both teams have bye weeks next week, but jump back the following week Brennan will take on the Marshall Rams Oct. 10. while Brandeis will face the O’Connor Panthers Oct. 11.
