On a night dominated by Anniston’s defense, John Foster stood out picking up 11 tackles, four for a loss and 1.5 sacks.

The only touchdown came in the second quarter. Mondrecko Thompson caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from QB Tyree Carmichael and the defense pretty much did the rest.

The Bulldogs led 7-0 at the half.

The Bulldogs defense stopped a Wildcats rally late in the fourth when White Plains had the ball on Anniston 10 but the Anniston defense dominated even sacked Jaden Chatmen on the fourth down.

Anniston will stay at home and host Oneonta, while White Plains will travel to Jacksonville on Friday.
