Del City 107, Piedmont 50
Del City dropped 107 points on Piedmont to win the Region 1 Championship game. The Eagles had twelve players to score and five players to score double digits. Demontreal Crutchfield led all scorers with 17 points, Keyondre Young totaled 15 points. Nate Goodlow added 14 points, and Sherrod Davis scored 13 points. Kyren Williams contributed 12 points in the win as well.
Piedmont started off hot and fast they were the first to score with a 3 pointer, as a matter of fact as a team the Wildcats dropped five 3’s in the first quarter. The first quarter was a fast pace game, despite the Wildcats five 3’s, Del City finished the first quarter 23-19.
The Wildcats couldnt keep up with the fast pace, however the Eagles did not slow down they went on to out score Piedmont 30-8 in the second quarter, Eagles led 53-27 going into the half.
The Eagles continued to soar in the second half scroing 38 points in the third quarter.
Del City went on to the win Class 5A Region 1 Championship game 107-50.
